A perfect balance, held in a single moment.

In Solstice, the tension between earth and sky resolves into something unexpectedly graceful. A sinuous central trunk rises from a campus of low aerodynamic pavilions, unfurling at its crown into a broad elliptical canopy part architecture, part tree, entirely neither. Below, small figures move through curved pathways, indifferent to the extraordinary thing above them. They have always lived here. This is simply home.

Where other works in the Futuropia Cities series push toward the radical and the unresolved, Solstice arrives at equilibrium. The composition breathes evenly green to the left, green to the right, the central form rising without aggression, without urgency. It is the stillest work in the series, and perhaps the most quietly ambitious: to imagine a city so perfectly calibrated to human life that it no longer needs to announce itself.

The light feels held. The moment feels permanent.
